If you were to ask Oak Knoll students what their favorite traditions are, I can guarantee that Lip Sync would come up at least once. Lip Sync is one of the main events during OKS Spirit Week,which takes place in January. Each year, grades 7 through 12 come up with their very own theme and create a dance and lip sync routine to go with it. The themes are a huge secret within the grades, which makes the reveal on the day of the event super exciting. Everyone waits in suspense to see what song or theme comes on next,and it generates a lively atmosphere. Even the teachers participate too! Some past themes include concerts, Descendants, and Mamma Mia! Overall, Lip Sync brings the whole school community together and is one of the most memorable events at Oak Knoll.
