With the start of the new year coming up, it’s time for students, staff, and everyone in our community to reflect on this past year and make resolutions for next year. Whether your resolution is to stop biting your nails, improve your study habits, or spend less time on your phone, everyone has different goals that help set the tone for the new year. New Year’s resolutions can be as simple as calling a family member who lives far away every once in a while, or a larger commitment, such as going on a run everyday. If you are in need of some inspiration for this year’s resolutions, here are some Oak Knoll students’ resolutions for 2022.
- Eat healthier
- Work on self acceptance
- Do homework on the night it is assigned
- Get better at sports
- Meet new people and make more friends
- Spend less time on social media
- Exercise more often
- Spend more time with family
- Get more sleep
- Form better study habits
Whether you plan on staying up until midnight this year waiting for the ball to drop in Times Square or you plan on getting to bed early, taking time to make a resolution for the New Year is a great way to focus on what is important to you. Sticking to your resolution often takes time, effort, and commitment, but it is almost always worth it. Following through with these resolutions gives you something to be proud of at the end of each year. This New Year, take a few moments to reflect on your past year and make a resolution for 2022!
