The fall sports season at Oak Knoll has definitely been one for the books. Dating all the way back to the start of August preseason, our Royal teams have worked incredibly hard and persevered through countless obstacles. Highlights of the season include cross country winning their County Conference meet, and team member Lily Murphy ’22 qualifying for the Meet of Champions. The field hockey team won both their county and state games against Camden Catholic and Kent Place, then qualified for the Tournament of Champions game. Volleyball had an outstanding season, gaining victories over Johnson, Rahway, Morristown- Beard, and more. Our tennis team had an outstanding season winning against top teams such as Blair and New Providence. The soccer team’s success ranged from beating cross-town rival Summit High School to fighting hard in the non-public A quarterfinal victory over Newark Academy. All Oak Knoll sports teams were happy to get back to playing this year, and their seasons were filled with teamwork and success!
