This fall, Dramatica presents The “Whodunnit” Murder Mystery Plays! The cast will be performing two plays, entitled The Mystery of the Stolen Treasure by Jennifer Reif and Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie. The Mystery of the Stolen Treasure is a fun mystery about a king’s curiously missing treasure chest. Set on a ship in the middle of the sea, a funny crew scrambles to get to the bottom of who stole the treasure with an angry king aching to make the thief walk the plank. Jennifer Reif is a teacher, director, and writer. She aims to share creative and entertaining stories for people of all ages. Cards on the Table is a fictional detective narrative originally published in 1936. It follows the collector Mr. Shaitana, who is later found to not actually be a collector of art, but a collector of people who escaped justice and got away with murder. Taking place over the course of an evening, the play is filled with the tension and suspicion of a curious cast of characters. Agatha Christie, who has been dubbed the “Queen of Mystery,” was an English mystery writer born in 1890 in the United Kingdom. Throughout her career, she has written 66 detective novels. Christie’s plays are famous for their plot twists, so the audience will be on the edge of their seats until the very end.

The cast of Dramatica is excited to present two shows of The “Whodunnit” Murder Mystery Plays on the big stage in the Campion Center. So, come on Friday, October 28th at 7:00 pm or Saturday, October 29th at 2:00 pm for a fun and spooky experience!
